Nevada Antelope hunts take place during some of the hottest temperatures in the year. The days are long and hot reaching temperatures of 100+ degrees on some days. Most hunting is done glassing from a truck and walking in for the stalk. Make sure to be physically prepared to walk 1-3 miles in extremely hot weather and potentially have to crawl on hands and knees for short distances at a time. Lightweight long sleeved camouflage is preferred as this will keep you out of the sun more. A good hat and sunglasses will benefit you greatly on these hunts as well.
